You did it! Already more than 100 Georgians took the #GAEarlyEd100 Challenge by signing up to host a screening of The Raising of America for their friends, co-workers or neighbors. Based on demand, The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation may make more free DVDs and toolkits available. Let us know if you are interested in hosting a screening by signing up below.
You can also keep the conversation going in your community by going to The Raising of America website to purchase special pre-releases of three supporting episodes.
Join the #GAEarlyEd100 Challenge by hosting a screening and inviting people in your life who care about kids. Everyone can make a difference:
- Parents and child-care providers who need easy-to-use tips on how to build healthy, strong kids.
- Business leaders who want to create family-friendly workplaces.
- Healthcare providers who have the opportunity to provide the advice and support families need.
- Neighbors and friends who can advocate for public policies and investments that ensure opportunity for all young children.
The first 100 to sign up will receive free copies of the full 5 part series and a screening kit including a discussion guide. Just sign up to receive your copy and screen the film for friends, co-workers or neighbors by May 1, 2015. All you need to do is call your friends. We’ll even throw in the popcorn!
In some cases, The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and its partners may be able to provide an early childhood champion to join your #GAEarlyEd100 event. Please be aware we will not be able to provide a champion for all events. Availability is dependent on your event date and location.
We can create stronger, more nurturing environments that will help your child and every child in your community get the strong start they need to succeed.
I pledge to make a difference for a child in my life by hosting a #GAEarlyEd100 conversation between May 1 and December 31, 2015.
